I think this Center City restaurant’s new slogan needs to be, “Come for the View, Stay for the Lobster Mac.” For reals, this lobster mac and cheese was on point. Thick, tender rounds of pasta filled with an incredible cheese sauce and wonderful, plump pieces of lobster. Yes, there’s lobster on this. Yes, lobster makes everything more fancy and delicious. But it really was the cheese sauce that put this dish over the edge for me. Truthfully, I’ve never met a cheese I didn’t like, and I think it’s impossible for something to be too cheesy. This big-time chef must share my sentiments. The sauce was thick, and creamy, and kind of gritty too. Not gritty in a bad way, gritty like you know there’s mountains of real, delicious cheese melted into that sauce. I don’t want more cream to cut the natural grit, I want more cheese to cut the cream. The pasta is the perfect shape to catch all of that cheese, and hey- if there’s also a piece of lobster at the end of that bite, I’m all the more happy. All-in-all, fantastic meal, but when you’re finished, you might want to take the stairs. The thirty seven flights of stairs…
Think you know where I found this booty?
Yes, Ann and Sarah got it! I got this decadent lobster mac and cheese at R2L.
R2L is located at 50 South 16th Street. It’s on the 37th floor of the luxury condo building, Two Liberty Place. The view is spectacular. It would be a wonderful place to go for a date or after-dinner drinks.

Hmmm, possibly R2L?
That is a gorgeous picture! I’m guessing R2L as well.
Nope, never saw that dish in my life.
what?! never seen that…

OHHH– I’ve got a good idea. A lobster-mac-and-cheese smoothie. Someone needs to figure this thing out.
